Lancaster, California- The Lancaster Rattlers Soccer Club introduces the youngest division of rattlers yet, boys and girls Rattler Minis ages 5 to 8 can now get started in the sport of soccer. Rattlers Soccer club Vice President Jesus Jimenez has taken on the job of Director of this very young bracket. "We have had so much fun said Jimenez, we have about 26 kids currently most are under the age of 8.There are a few older, but not many. We would still love to have older kids also said Jimenez. This program is design to teach the young players some of the basic skills of soccer and mainly to teach them the team environment as well as sportsmanship and most important to have fun doing it. Parents are welcome to join in and assist the coaching staff. The parents are great and have been a big help Jimenez said. The Moms are all on the side lines to cheer the kids on and the Dads have been a great help to the coach. The kids are broke down in to small groups and they get more attention, more offend. They really enjoy the time on the field making friends while learning the game of soccer. The practices are two days per week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:30pm at the Lancaster National Soccer Complex.
