United Sports International DBA Lancaster Rattlers would like to introduce our new coaching staff for the 2008 season. With recent expansion into the youth programs, club soccer, and our training academy; USI must make sure the coaching staff is in place for such expansion. These changes are to prepare us for the up coming season and to assure the we have the right coach in the right position. It will also assure us that each player is getting the maximum out of each part of the Lancaster Rattlers system. Each player must be given the opportunity to learn the most that they can from the our experienced coaches in order to move on to the next level of play.

Mauricio Harrie :
PDL  Assistant coach who comes with playing experience in El Salvador . Mauricio has over 12 years experience in coaching.  With experience in club   for local clubs like the A.V. Sharks, A.V. Heat and the Ambush club. Mauricio comes to us with a great deal of experience in training and conditioning at all levels.

Rubin Messina:
Our Goal Keeper Coach and trainer:   Born in Rosario Argentina in 1958, Rubin started playing at the age of 8 years old for Morning Star. He played for Newell Old Boys (N.O.B.) and for Renato Cessarini F.C. in Rosario Argentina. In 1980 he moved to the United States and played for L.A. Great League in Los Angeles on the United Yugoslavia team. He played on the State and National Championship teams of Atletico Latino and Maccabi and the two time State Champions Atletico Guadalajara. He also played on the State championship team of King Taco. His coaching experience includes coaching at the Batato Soccer Academy for 5 years. As well as training teams such as the National Brazilian Team, Santos Brazil , and America Mexico. He coached at the Y.A.S.L. of Los Angeles for 10 years and he has also coached in the Coast Soccer League of California. Rubin has coached A V United Soccer League u-10 division where his team has been first place in league standings for 2 years straight and they have also been league champions for the last two years.
